Blogger comment: Every year parents complain that there are not enough textbooks in the classroom. Now, what money there is has been frozen by Diaz.

Did you know that Dr. Diaz's new literacy plan simply consists of spending 1 million dollars on books that elementary teachers do not need or want. They already have textbooks that they do not use. The new textbooks are going to just gather dust the same as the Scott Foresman text books. Dr. Diaz plans to "confiscate" the Scott Foresman textbooks from the teachers. As if they are so unprofessional that they can not be trusted to keep the books. It makes one wonder what Dr. Diaz is getting from Houghton Mifflin for this order that the teachers do NOT want.
Dr. Diaz has agreed with Houghton Mifflin to travel and promote their textbooks.
Is it true that Zia's principal was removed again?
