Diaz Hiring

"The fact is that the school board members chose to hire Diaz in spite of glaring performance issues in her last 3 jobs. That choice has seen Diaz, with the help of a high priced "transition team" of friends, reduce LCPS employee morale to an all time low in less than 150 days. The fact is that the long term damage done to the LCPS organization by Diaz and the "transition team" increases daily. Instead of healing wounds left from the previous superintendent debacle and moving foward, LCPS is sustaining new and deeper wounds. How long before the school board accepts that they've made a bad hiring decision? Hopefully before extending Diaz' contract to 2009."

Board Member Seminar Attendance

"Fact or fiction is it true that a school board member attended the same $925 seminar as John Marsilio and LCPS paid the bill? "

Forget about the $925 seminar. How about the trip to Orlando last year by several administrators and principals after we had all been told that there was no travel money for out-of-state functions?
